When Diana contacted me to have a simple portrait session done for her website, my suggestion to her was considering a branding session instead. As many of you, she was not sure what a branding session was. I, first, checked out her business website and realized definite needs of upgrading and also elevating both the website contents as well as her images. There was very thorough style and hair & makeup guidance/direction prior to the shoot.
By the nature of her business, her business aims to reach out, mainly, women who are aged from mid 30~60 and up. Keeping in this factor in mind, wardrobe guidance for Diana was to keep classic, elegant and yet modern working lady look. Diana is gifted with amazing skin. Also her target clientele is interested in beautiful, healthy and younger looking skin. Therefore makeup and hair style suggestion was to keep as natural as possible and stay with elegant feminine aesthetics.
My overall goal from this session for Diana was to well reflected and branded her visual presence of natural, fresh, minimal, modern and yet professional business woman. Dina's web or social media presence should enable targeted women clientele to fantasize of having gorgeous skin and create spontaneous engagement and trust to lead to "sell"
