This past week we had the absolute joy of shooting with Hilton Hollis for his new lookbook collection. Hilton transplanted himself from his southern Mississippi roots to the bustling city of New York in 1997, and although he may as well be a native, he sees his home as a defining part of himself and his creative vision. His clothing is contemporary, manifesting a modern flare within a wearable women's line. This spring/ summer 2016 collection had a unique inspiration stemming from the the infamous Mexican painter and female icon, Frida Kahlo. The concept allowed for some playful set construction within the studio, arranging plants and interjecting props with sentiments of both the modern and past world. We had an incredibly imaginative, playful and passionate team that resulted in wonderful images!
